Hey, everybody! Pat Petrini here! 🙂
I have a challenge for you should you choose to accept it! Read to the end for details…
I recorded this short video in the town of Ambato, Ecuador while on the rooftop of the hospital that I was stuck in after I broke 3 ribs and punctured a lung in a bicycle accident! (you can check out those videos here, here and here!)
I was walking the halls of the hospital as part of my recovery and I had several ideas that came to me while I was walking…one of them being that I should do a video on the power of walking!
I’ve always found that when I go on really long walks (at least an hour), it’s always a creative period for me. It’s a great way to relax. It’s a great way to think. Or, if you go on a long walk with your partner, it’s a great way to spend some quality time talking about all kinds of things that might be on your mind.
If I’m in a bad mood, I’m a little down, or I’m in a creative road block, a good long walk is a great way to solve it.
Bonus Tip: Always bring something to write with whether that’s your phone or a small notepad. I find that I get great ideas while I’m walking and I’m always stopping to write them down.
My Challenge to You:
I challenge you to go on a long walk (at least an hour) while listening to some Jim Rohn and tell me how you end up feeling afterwards.
If Jim Rohn isn’t your thing (I don’t know how that is possible), then here are a few amazing podcast that you might find fascinating and inspiring for your walk:
Share your results by either commenting on my video, this blog or by email!
Thanks a lot and thanks for reading! 🙂
